    Happy New Year Uncanny!

Today's been a good first day of the year: an unexpected double gig and my voice is getting back to normal so a) that's enough extra to pay for all my expenses this week and b) hopefully that means I'm past the worst of the chest infection :j

    Plan for tomorrow:

    - PAD (only a small one as I need some immediate cashflow when I move back next week)
    - Chase payments
    - Chase wedding fair refund (nope, I STILL don't have it)
    - Update finances
    - As much packing as possible
    - Hoover
    - Make packed lunch
    - Gig
    - Meet friend for dinner

I'm not normally one for pressing the 'reset' button, but I'm grateful for the fresh start 2018 will bring!

That's a long list! When you sign up for survey sites I believe there are referral links around here somewhere, this just gives others a little something extra. Personally I find Prolific and Swagbucks the best, not everyone likes swagbucks though and Prolific you can go a little while not having had any surveys.

I know how motivated you are so I know you will achieve everything on that list!

Stress levels have been a bit high today - Storm Eleanor has meant the ferry that Idiot Boy was meant to catch tomorrow has been cancelled so he's now getting the ferry on Thursday, and I just got a message from him saying he's got a gig on Friday night and is the ferry guaranteed? It's a ferry. It's never 100%. And while I was nervous, I'm in panic mode now. Fun times!

    - PAD (only a small one as I need some immediate cashflow when I move back next week) Done
    - Chase payments Mostly done, still one more to contact
    - Chase wedding fair refund (nope, I STILL don't have it) Done, she's assured me I'll get it when she can spare it...
    - Update finances Not done
    - As much packing as possible About half way there
    - Hoover Not done
    - Make packed lunch Done
    - Gig Done
    - Meet friend for dinner Rescheduled to tomorrow

I think I shall eat some chocolate and watch Black Mirror...

    Morning!

Well, I got about six hours of sleep total - the last ferry today hasn't been cancelled so I've got all fingers and toes crossed. I'll be watching the forecasts like a hawk!

    Plans for today:

    - PAD
    - gig
    - update finances
    - banking
    - keep on with packing
    - dinner with friend :)

Ferry was cancelled again so I'm now not going home til Monday... on the upside Idiot Boy is no longer coming over - one of my best friends is helping me.

Now I've got a few days of no plans other than one more friend to see so I'm going sleep, work out, finish my packing and flit between relaxing and cracking on with the January list!

Enjoy the rest but boo to changes of plans. Can you work on your new business website/social media over the weekend?

I hope it all sorts itself out for you.
