Total Parking Solutions Ticket

"Vehicle was incorrectly positioned to the inconvenience of other users"

There was another car parked parked on the left side with no ticket although I can't remember if their car was intruding on the pedestrian walkway (which is just a couple lines painted on the road)

I've read through the sticky but I'm just wondering if I have any grounds at all for an appeal or if I should just pay while it is reduced

Thanks very much

most parking charge tickets are won on legal grounds, not on what happened on the day

so issues like signage and markings , landowner contract , compliance with the law , compliance with the relevant CoP etc , all count towards a win, but what you outlined above are not grounds for winning anything at all

you do not owe a penny unless a judge says so, so appeal it

Can't make much of that. Is it something from Etch-a-Sketch?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

errr you appear (from your etch-a-sketch) to be parked on the pavement.

There may be stuff you can unpick as to who is ticketing, but from limited info, you look to be "fair game" for the ticket. Your own drawing appears to suggestions pedestrians are forced to walk in the road around your car. If i've got that wrong, you'll be needing photos...

Where does the sticky thread say paying is an option, ever, at all?

Where does the sticky thread say the detail 'grounds for appeal' matters, at all?

That's why there is an appeal template in the NEWBIES thread, one size fits all.

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences.

Parking Eye, Smart and a smaller company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They nearly always lose) and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind most of these companies may well be put out of business by Christmas.

I addition to the above forget about other vehicles or whether they were ticketed it won't make any difference.

This is your chance of these muppets going to court:

it doesn't but the last time I asked for advice before an appeal (a year or 2 back) someone said that POPLA appeals have become harder to win

We still win almost all POPLA appeals, around 99%, except against a couple of firms like Premier Park who seem to have POPLA in their pocket more often than not. But still no-one PAYS the PPC!

TPS have never been very hard to beat. Appeal as keeper using the usual forum template, to get the POPLA code then consult other POPLA appeals and copy/adapt a winner.

Assuming the PCN was a windscreen one, you will already know from the NEWBIES thread to wait till day 26, and why (the sticky thread saves us repeating ourselves, at least that's the idea).

You are where you are, and as said no one pays these muppets, but I have to say I wouldn't even think of parking there ppc or no ppc!
