    In store today were packs of 4 figs for £2.00, however SEL stated 2 packs for £1.25 !!! And indeed they went thro till at £1.25 for 2 packs. Not store specific as its showing the same offer online.

    and for anybody who can't get to a Tesco they are selling 4 large figs for 75p in Sainsburys

    Good offer but I have personally never really got on with fresh figs. Also, they don't stay fresh for long.

    What do figs taste like? I always look at them but have never tried one, the fresh ones, not dried as they look like cat's bums

    Wasps, apparently!

    I think they taste a bit like sultanas but with a fresh green leaf aroma. Very grainy texture.
