Nah dangers...that's not the case! Am sure you are full of courage! :) Say, if they do it again we will apply together! :) scooting down Park Street would be amazing.

Planning to cruise the diaries with a cup of tea. I reckon I am worth it :D

Hey Brizzle, I've been in your general vicinity today, at St Peters Church, Haresfield at an event. The sound engineer was a Bristolian. I'm staying at a gorgeous b&b Phepson Farm, at Phepson near Droitwich as it was too far to drive 130 miles home after a very physically demanding event. Bargain £50 through Laterooms with 5% cashback. b&b on expenses, which will be submitted tomorrow.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

    Hi everyone

Satchmo, have to say the M5 and M6 is a right PITA not just the distance but the inevitable jams and hold ups at whatever time of day or night it seems. Cash back on work expenses..now that's an idea!

TC..I do feel good, thank you. Bit concerned I have been too eager with the savings pots tho this morning so may have to do a shuffle  left myself B all for next fortnight in the current account which may be rash :rotfl:

Anyway may set the family a challenge. Spending nowt but Bristol Pounds over next fortnight. As I have cash in that account that might keep the current account lean and mean ;) but not in the red.

    PLMBL..glad to hear it :)

    Have a good day folks

Phew...thought I lost that post..but see it somehow posted despite the ropey internet connection whilst on the move..

Very thankful for a lovely conversation just now with a very special person which really reminded me what life is about and the joy of sharing the new opportunities that are coming up. It's exciting and energising and I love that.

The EBay bids are up to over £100+ with a few watchers on items with no bids so maybe I didn't overprice over all.

I am looking forward to lunch with my husband ...whoop whoop...(sarnie eaten at home but even so, he has forgotten what I look like!) and after that getting my nails done. It's been a gruelling few weeks so that's my treats.

Not sure what we are eating for dinner but I know OH will have a plan. Also going to walk a friend's dog...will be fun and the DDs will love it.

And finally..have decided to run a £BPs and sterling cash only fortnight :) to help keep my hard earned cash in our precious saving pots and simultaneously not send the current account into the red. I have £200 in cash so if we are careful we can do it :) Think it will be a great family competition :)

HG artichokes sound interesting - I've never grown those before :o

Re dandelions in salads - forgive a complete novice but which bits do you eat?

    How are the nails looking?
