Bought a house with Solar Panels. Do not have MCS

    That's our stance at the moment Merlin139, we are 5 months into this now and only 1 house in the chain, the more they refuse to sort it the more we wonder if there is an issue with the installation or financials.

    We don't want to lose the house but we also don't want to be taken for a ride and are willing to walk away.

    Seek Indemnity Insurance that would cover any possible costs you might incur associated with the solar panels. If the vendors cannot or will not provide that then there is something seriously wrong.

    If there is a rent a roof scheme in place then mortgage may be a problem anyway. What have the mortgage company said?
