Kaspersky Renewal

I am trying to renew my Kaspersky Anti Virus previously given by Barclays now offered by Kaspersky at a reduced rate for Barclays Customers.

I still have 27 days to run on my old licence and the other day a message came up saying renew now without loosing ang remaing time which I did - - now to be told vby Kaspersky that the new code was activated & running along side my existing one (however they have now refunded this)

They say I have to wait 27 days to expiry of old licence and click on the link in their email as opposed to follow the renew now link on Kaspersky page even though they both do the same thing.

On the renew page there is a default in the shopping cart with Auto Renewal Plan on and also another optoion saying Extended Download Service that you have to add both with the same reduced price.

I am getting conflicting answers from Kaspersky Support as what to do.

What is the difference between these two options?

Do I have to use the email link or on screen?

In the past with Barclays I have clicked renew at about this time in old licence period then adding on expiry day.

Kaspersky say I can also bank a code to activate new code on expiry of old code.

So what do I do - Are there any other Barclays Customers with this problem?

If you are using Windows 10, why not just ditch Kaspersky and use Windows Defender.

Reading your post gives me a headache. What a muddle.

You don't want to choose Auto-Renewal, nor Extended Download.

When they offer the £4.99 renewal, accept if you want.

I don't understand why you start thread after thread on the same subject but don't listen anyway.

I think Kasperky support are getting confused by conflicting advice by
    different staff on chat.

I know it it not barclays offering it they have for reasons best known to themselves withdrawn it for everyone - the offer is a reduced renewal offer to existing users through barclays - Kaspersky are offering it to keep loyal users.

Yes that's why i put was in my reply .
I renewed mine in advance through BB but it was end of November .
To renew through Kaspersky the price is £59-99 for Total Security .
Cheaper to pick up last years licence on the web .

No it is not £59.99p through Kaspersky - when I click on 'Renew now' it gives the reduced option of £4.99p and that is direct with Kaspersky

What is the difference between Electronic Auto Renew and Extended Download service both have the same price?
