Who knows without an image but if the bio data page is untouched you might be ok. If not you can apply in person for an emergency passport but it will be expensive. https://www.gov.uk/get-a-passport-urgently

All you can do is try. If it was any other airline you might be lucky but Ryanair insist on passports. A chewed passport is not valid if there are puncture holes in the data page. Just make sure to bring other photo id as well as the damaged passport.

Just in case, book an appointment (online premium service)to get a new one. The earliest you can get an appointment is two days from when you apply.

Good luck, I hope you get away!
I walk around like everything is fine, but deep down, inside my shoe, my sock is sliding off.

You could describe more exactly the damage, whether or not it's the actual data page, swipe strip, RFID circuit etc.

Anyway the chance of replacing it in time is close to zero and the only real way to find out is to go for it (the trip), nothing much to lose is there..?

Every page has been chewed slightly on the bottom corner, the last 2 digits are missing after all the arrows on the bottom strip if that makes sense, itís the new biometric passport with 2 photos so thereís no film over the photo as they are printed

Eh? I highlighted the bit that I was talking about, in red. They need all that bit along the bottom to read the passport.

Thats assuming you are even let on the plane when the staff look at your passport at the boarding gate. As said, you may as well try as its far too late now to get a new one for later today, but prepare to be disappointed. Airlines arent in the habit of letting people board the plane who are likely to be turned back as I believe they end up being fined.

Ah for some reason I thought this thread was started yesterday.

You may just have to try your luck at the airport then.
