    Afternoon all!

Just popping in to say I had a job offer this morning! It has really made my Christmas, it means so much to know that I have a job to go to in January, so now I'll really be able to properly relax and enjoy the holiday. They've pencilled me in to start mid-January so I'll have a couple more weeks off than I expected, so I'm going to make sure I treat myself and do some baking and crafting and fun things for once

    I hardly ever eat cheese.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    Morning Everyone

Have been searching for a book for a friend who because of his illness can't concentrate for long so needs lots of pictures and not too much writing, something about nature or countryside.
Went to Smiths and discovered a damaged book section at reduced prices. Found a lovely big book about African wildlife with a ripped cover, but underneath the cover was exactly the same.
It was priced at £25 but with no reduced sticker so took it downstairs and asked how much it was. Three assistants said they didn't even know they had a reduced section! Anyway she said she'd scan it and it came up as........£1 My bargain of this Christmas I think

Check your junk mail. Thompson and Morgan are offering me a £5 voucher if I write a review of one of their products, take a screen shop and send it to them.

    I haven't a problem doing that.

The hanging baskets were really good value
