Lovely new diary, have a great holiday, best wishes for your DM and the elder hound.
So pleased that we have reached the equinox and looking forward to seeing "your" snowdrops blooming before too long.:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Great idea to start a new diary on the first day of official winter.
I guess you will get the whole magical snow scenario. Are your children also going or is it just the two of you?
Have a lovely holiday . I nearly said break but thought that would be tempting fate.
Merry Christmas

Scarily early indeed! Hope you are safely away, and that you have a lovely holiday.
Might just have a mooch up the back and see if any of my snowdrops are peeping through yet. Best things I did when we moved in was got a pile of snowdrops from my Dad and got them colonised in a couple of places. They are one of those things that just look amazing mass planted. Planted through hellebores and cyclamen - just glorious. Bright things to look forward to.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese0 -
