It feels like it's been forever since I've been on MSE, I still have debt - £4778.72 to be exact...I struggle with debt much the same as I struggle with weight, I lose it all and find it all again somehow! April/may always seems the time I take a look at myself- new financial year? Summertime fast approaching I don't know but I do know I've got to get back into financial shape again.

I have seen people on my journey who started out the same time clear debts, save and never look back..well I want that...I really want to be debt free once and for all. I'm not starting a brand new diary but continuing from one of my old ones...probably would've been better to continue from my oldest one but hey how I've started this now. I'm hoping that will help me stay focused on how long I've been in debt and my struggles with it.

Ok so plan for today- no spend day, actually post soa, update my ynab, budget for MAYS payday. Make a payment a day, think of 10 things I'm grateful for...list 10 things on eBay/spock/ziffit! Thanks for reading...I have no real debt free date, it's more get gazelle intense and get out!! Here goes....have a fab day one and all x

The SOA wasnt as scary as I thought and definitely gave me a better idea of where I stand, I should have £1270 left over each month to put towards clearing my debt- so should take me about 4 months if I can actually stick to it. have just under £400 left in my account till pay...have one festival, One seminar and one babyshower to get though then will send the rest to the cc.

Didnt manage an nsd- spent £15 on lunch (team lunch) but was really nice, maybe my last for a while whilst I get this all sorted. Made a £10 payment to cc included in the totals above. Feeling a little more excited and optimistic now...just cant wait for payday now...all I have to do is curb my spending :) x

Good Afternoon one and all, So yesterday I sent £17.12 to the cc and today another £10. Will aim to send £10 a day until payday. Went shopping last night- spent £70 in Aldi was quite a bit but the freezer needed filling. That said I wont be spending anything on food for the next 2 weeks at least (except perishables). Having a NSD today, brought in box of cereal (quite big should last a minute- and a microwave meal from home). Right back to work I guess...Have a fab day one & all. x

    Hey my fellow dfw's,

Sorry I haven't checked in in the past 2 days, have been lurking & reading diaries for inspiration. Yesterday- I managed to have a nsd- paid £10 to cc and since I made lunch and saved myself £3 odd I sent that too.

Today sent £10 to the cc, managed to bring in lunch- sadly not a nsd as my earphones broke- so ordered a new pair and 1l mouthwash (also run out) for £10.10. Annoying but necessary :/ Going to try for no more further spends today. Right lunch is up back to work I go...have a fab day all.

Afternoon all...so the weekend has been a bit spendy...
Friday was a night out with the girls dinner and a movie- total spend £33 (£8 cinema entry and £25 on dinner) sent my mum £60 as she was away for the weekend and didn't have much so chipped in for that (hoping bank of good karma will bring it back in another way:rotfl:)
Saturday night in- cheeky take away and drinks:o £23 still cheaper than a night out...
On the plus side still paying my £10 a day as payment to cc...have 5 days to payday and £190 odd left so hoping to send as much as I can to cc. Today will be an nsd, staying home doing chores...so glamorous... will also work on budget for next month as I have a couple of days out planned...have been reading articles on saving, trying to set myself the task of buying no clothes until this debt is cleared...no takeaways either. Right back to it have a fab day guys xX
