Not much going on today. Get up, get on train, work, get on train, home! Still it’s was at least a NSD.:T

It was one of the 2 bits of the 5:2 diet today. Two hard boiled eggs for breakfast at work, apple at lunch time and chicken broth with ryvitas and scraping of low fat butter spread later on for dinner. But one good thing of this diet is at least I can go back to eating reasonably normally tomorrow. And walking to and from the station at both ends of the commute knocks up around 35 minutes per day (one leg of it up a big hill!)

Have a good Tuesday evening everyone!

Funnily enough I find it quite easy whilst I’m at work Hairy because I’m busy. It’s when I get home that the rot usually starts. I’ve never smoked but my friends that have or do have said that they find it hard to have a coffee/tea/alcoholic drink without wanting a cigarette as the two go together in their minds. I feel the same in the evening when I settle down in front of the TV - TV and food go together! But I’m going to be very good - either that or I’ll have to get out more!:D

  • Well I think you're amazing, I couldn't do it. That's why I lose weight so slowly :). I find cups of tea help fill me up when I'm hungry.

That’s lovely of you to say that Hairy, butI’ve got to keep to it. Hopefully you’ll still say that in a few months time as I’ve a bit to lose and I’m for the long haul. Like you I’m filling the gaps with liquids - water and coffees with a tiny splash of semi-skimmed.
