I'm travelling down to London in March and i'm going to do all the tourist things!
has anyone got any suggestions on what i should do while i'm there?0 -
St Paul's? Apart from on the day of the Lord Mayor's Show when it's free this is not a cheap option.
I lived in London for many years and of course never did the touristy things.
But we made a trip there a couple of years ago and although I can't remember how much the pre booked entrance to St Paul's cost it was worth every penny.
Marvellous views inside the Cathedral and the views from the many outside galleries are much much better than the London Eye.
Never managed to get the Whispering Gallery to work though.
Westminster Abbey also very interesting.
Grenwich, the meridian, observatory, Hospital and Cutty Sark well worth a day out.
Tower of London, although we didn't pre book we managed to get an easy entry with no queues, is absolutely fabulous.
So many museums and art galleries which even if you think you aren't into that sort of thing opened our eyes to stuff. It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -
