How do I find out if my new phone is faulty
I've bought a new archos access 50s mobile phone but I think the battery is faulty but how do I confirm this. I fully charged the phone and while trying to find things I want to turn off the battery have gone down to 88% within an hour and it shows about 7h 20m left but every time the percentage drops the hours left goes up.

When did you buy it ?
How did you pay for it ?
More importantly where did you byy it from ?0 -
This is a very basic mobile. It has a very small battery at 2000mAh by modern smartphone standards
So it will need charging frequently with heavy use
At £50 you get what you pay for

The hours left probably went up because it was in standby for a longer period of time since you've got it, the screen being on is the biggest battery killer generally and when you first turned it on you'd have been going through all the settings working out how it works. Hours left BTW is purely a guesstimate anyway based on your usage.
It sounds like the phone is working correctly. Is this buyers remorse?0 -

Depends upon what things you are trying to find and what with .
Battery will take a few weeks to calibrate itself .
Turn off apps etc that are not needed or remove .
Turtn off mobile date until needed likewise wifi off with screen off .
GSam battery moniter may help locate draining apps .0 -
