In case anyone's a fan of Philadelphia soft cheese, you might like to try the Aldi version.
The wife tells me it's much the same (ingredients almost identical) and at around 55p for 200g it's a steal.
Compare that with the Philly price!0 -
New products at Aldi:-
- Vegan Ready Meals (3 varieties, frozen). £1.99
- Posh Part-baked Rolls: Sourdough or Ciabatta - 89p (ISTR)

I think I am addicted to Lidl's Gouda slices. Not sure why as its not even the best cheese, and it has a plastic quality to it...yet it is so more-ish.
Can anyone decipher Lidl-code for me? What does it mean when something is plain orange-stickered, ie with no 30% price reduction? Does it mean that it has been picked to be marked down in price later in the day?Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

If my Lidl is anything to go by it means that the label maker is broken and not printing the reduced price.
We went over 6 months with plain orange stickers and they went through at 30% off.0
