    the dealership gave the car's previous owner the wrong code. I've looked online and it says to hold down digits 1 and 6 to get the Ford radio serial. When I do this, several sets of number come up so I'm not sure which is correct. Here they are...

    Non of those are the serial number. It will be a M or V followed by six numbers.

    Sometimes pressing buttons 1 and 6 or 2 and 6 together will display it. If not the radio will have to be removed to find it on the label on the back.

    Thanks for the quick reply... I'm going to have to remove the radio as 2 and 6 doesn't work. Will check back soon.
