I have around 97K Virgin miles, i could get that up to 110K pretty quickly by converting Tesco clubcard points ( which would get 2 x Premium return flights to Vegas - off peak )
I want to go sometime in Sept or Oct this year, but cant book anything now as there is some "rumoured" uncertainty around my work situation, hopefully that information will be available in next month or two, by which time there might not be any reward flights left
Not done a Virgin redemption for a long long long long time, but can’t you book now, and have your points and cash refunded (bar a cancellation fee) if you need to cancel?0 -
EDIT: sorted now... and got it cheaper than I hoped!
Caesars giving me some grief. I had 5 consecutive nights booked with them, but cancelled it as wanted to do 2 nights, followed by 1 night elsewhere, then another 2 nights at Caesars
It’s let me book the first two nights, but when trying to book the last two, I get:Our records indicate that you already have a reservation at one of our casinos during the same period requested. You can continue to book at our normal rates. If you need further assistance, please call us at 1-866-503-5494.
I read I may need to wait 48hours from cancelling my original reservation, but it’s been a week now. Is there some weird room booking rule I’m not aware of
(Got them at a reduced rate, they’re not completely comped - is that why?)0 -
We have a couple of trips booked this year.
First one is in March, 10 nights in Vegas.
Second one is October.Going to LA, San Francisco then 4 nights in Vegas.
Last week I changed a room booking, had 5 nights booked at Luxor in March..four were comped. But changed it to just 2 nights, and used Wynn gems to book 3 night totally free with their hotel.
Since then I have played the Wynn game pretty hard.Lost many billions of coins, but back up over 20,000...so should have enough to get all 4 nights in Vegas free for October trip.
I wasn’t a fan of the Wynn app when I first started playing it, but after four months of playing if I can get 7 nights at Wynn totally free, then it’s been well worth the time on the game.
The same can’t be said for Myvegas.I don’t play it anymore as I have over 1 million LP’s.But with the March trip upcoming, I looked at getting the usual free buffets.Only to find that the Bellagio & Aria lunch buffets no longer show up to purchase on MacBook or iPad game.
I can still get breakfast/lunch buffet at the lower end hotels, but the Aria & Bellagio are the only ones still worth getting in our opinion...and even they aren’t as good as they used to be.0 -
I did Vegas each year from 2010 to 2017 but have had a few years off now so getting the itch to go back again!
Just saw a great deal so booked it for Oct 2020 - direct return flights with BA from Gatwick, and 6 nights in a Strip View Jubilee room at Ballys for £544.90pp (excl. resort fee). Very happy with that price!
Sooooo...what's changed since 2017?0 -

Good question! Similar! Every year from ‘08 (and Dec’06) onwards till 2016!
I’ve got Beer Park and the Blue Moon bar as new things on my “must do” list, but not much else. We are Canada for 2 weeks, Seattle for 2 nights, then Vegas for 2 nights, Zion (again) for 1 night then 2 nights Vegas
I’m desperately looking forward to sun, a pool, lots of fatty food and beer!!0 -

We have done the Beer Park a few times since it first opened.
It’s great to just relax and people watch on the strip.
Drink prices aren’t too bad either considering the strip location, we normally get a pitcher or two of beer to share between us.
Look out on groupon as quite often they have a deal $26...or less with a code...for $40 worth of food and drink, we just use it for drink. :rotfl:0 -
Beer Park...is that by Paris?{Signature removed by Forum Team}0

I have a 9 night solo trip coming up at the end of March. I've stayed on Fremont Street for my last couple of trips (at The Plaza and Downtown Grand) and really enjoyed it. So this time I'm giving Hotel Apache (Binions) a go, as it was a bargain!0
