    Hiya,

I hope your overtime shifts went quickly and painlessly. It is nice to have that little bit of extra cash though, and the possibility to get things cleared a bit quicker. Do you put your overtime towards debts or do you use it to pay for the holiday? Either way it all helps :)

I keep flip flopping lol, it was going to be for holidays, then for debt, and we are now decided back to holidays. We've managed to secure it on 0% again, so the debt will get the minimums, and the overtime will be for holidays (hopefully I won't change my mind again :rotfl:)

Thank you :) laptop sold last night for £400 whoop.

Just as well because the car is in garage today (for a few days I think) and it's timing belt needs changing and possibly other things  so we will see what that costs.

How is everyone doing? I am tucking into lovely leftover sunday dinner for my lunch at work, should get ten mins at end of lunch left to work on my son's blanket

Have a nice day everyone xx

Leftovers sounds yum! I had leftover veg fried rice today which doesn't sound quite as yummy as yours...

Well done on achieving £400 for the laptop! Although timing belt replacement can be expensive, so hopefully it's not as bad as you expect.

I think your veg fried rice sounds delicious too :)

Thank you, well apparently we are looking at about £500 so far, the car need two ball joints, a new water pump, and a timing belt, and brake pads. So about £500 we reckon so far 😱 Also think we need tyres before winter kicks in

Gah!! We have more stuff to eBay this week, will list them on Thursday for a ten day listing, hopefully can source the rest of the money, I shall not be beaten xx

  • Not very happy. He messaged me on Sunday saying he would pay monday, he hadn’t paid by lunch time today, so I sent a payment reminder. He replied saying “can’t buy it, was going to pay on credit card and it’s maxed” I ignored it (Cos I was fuming and didn’t know what to say) by the time I got home from work he had sent another message saying “ive paid some money off can you wait for it to clear” so I asked how long, he said 2-3 days. So I’ve told him he has till Friday. I’m not really happy at all, and fear I am being massively messed about

  • That's frustrating about the payment from your bidder! I think you're right to give him until the end of the week and then move on. Fingers crossed it doesn't cause you too much hassle.

I know the feeling of there always being something. I've just had a big rant on my diary about our letting agent for our flat messing us around on costs for renting it out etc. Frustrating!

  • God he is testing me lol, I messaged him friday morning saying I still haven't received payment, I got nothing back, so last night I cancelled the order and have offered it to next highest bidder (nothing back from them yet), then almost instantly he sent a message saying he was just about to pay!!! Aye sure you were mate!!! I replied saying you have done nothing but mess me around! Order Cancelled!!!

I will relist it on sunday once the second chance offer has elapsed.

I am in work currently doing another weekend of overtime, so I will have 4 days overtime on October's pay yay :) I can't work next weekend as DD has two parties and OH doesn't cope with parties well lol, and it means DS can stay home with OH instead of being dragged to two little girls parties lol.

Hanson are coming back to the UK woooooooooo hooooooooooo!!! They are touring with an Orchastra, I am so so so so excited, they come in february, my mam got me tickets for London and paid for the hotel for Christmas so I will be seeing them with London Philharmonic Orchastra, then they threw in a normal concert in Nottingham on Valentines day, so I got those ones, was well surprised cos the premier in was only £23!!! I will have seen them in concert 32 times after these two concerts :)

I started on a crochet lap blanket for OH's grandma for christmas, she is 93 and hard to buy for lol, I got some Aran wool from aldi and it's lovely and soft, shouldn't even take both balls, so thats a lovely blanket made for less than £8

Have a nice day all xx
