1 penny direct debits?

Charities usually have £2 minimum Direct debits which I found a bit too steep to benefit from the £5 a month account TSB have/Halifax had.

Google found me http://www.onepounddd.com which I've been using for the last few months and has been working great for me

My computer shows the site mentioned in post 32 is not secure.

Here's one for a pound a year, the equivalent of 8 and a half pennies a month..... Great for Santander 123 which doesn't require money coming out every month.

Also great for account switching offers, because you can cancel it after the switch and you will have paid only once.

Would anybody care to explain these PayPal tricks to me? I have a PayPal account but I use it for purchases only therefore I never have a "balance" with them. TIA.

Use the add funds button on Paypal and chose your account. Money appears in your account straight away and then you can withdraw and put it back into the account you chose (it takes about three days to be withdrawn)

Not aware of any - if you want to donate something useful to the NHS then there are at least a couple of ways to do so....

Does this still work as a DD Westie? I thought this was part of the functionality Paypal had withdrawn? (I'm very confused about exactly what does and doesn't work though).

Yes if you send money to someone else and they send the money back to you to withdraw, I send money to my sister each month and she sends it straight back and then I put it in the account the DD is coming from.
