Charities usually have £2 minimum Direct debits which I found a bit too steep to benefit from the £5 a month account TSB have/Halifax had.
Google found me http://www.onepounddd.com which I've been using for the last few months and has been working great for me0 -
My computer shows the site mentioned in post 32 is not secure.
Run by Mayghal as mentioned in post 31.0 -
Here's one for a pound a year, the equivalent of 8 and a half pennies a month..... Great for Santander 123 which doesn't require money coming out every month.
https://smalldirectdebit.co.uk
Here's a direct link for the direct debit £1 A YEAR DIRECT DEBIT
Also great for account switching offers, because you can cancel it after the switch and you will have paid only once.
And here is a very convenient one for £1 a month direct debit £1 A MONTH DIRECT DEBIT0 -

I've set up a DD instruction from my Halifax Reward Current Account and have transferred £1 across to my PayPal Account. There is another monthly DD on the account, and it's funded by over £1000/month. This was completed in November, will I now get the £5 reward for December, can anyone please confirm?
Many thanks:)thenudeone wrote: »Paypal and Tesco savings does the trick for me.
You don't even need to buy anything with paypal, just add funds by DD You can then transfer the funds back into your back account once it's cleared. Thanks, that was exactly the plan to transfer £1 every month. Did notice it took an age to show on my Paypal balance though lol. Guess its a US bank though!0 -

Use the add funds button on Paypal and chose your account. Money appears in your account straight away and then you can withdraw and put it back into the account you chose (it takes about three days to be withdrawn)

Does this still work as a DD Westie? I thought this was part of the functionality Paypal had withdrawn? (I'm very confused about exactly what does and doesn't work though)."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -

Yes if you send money to someone else and they send the money back to you to withdraw, I send money to my sister each month and she sends it straight back and then I put it in the account the DD is coming from.
