...if so, please could I ask if you can fit a car in the garage (and open the door)?
Despite a number of attempts, I've been unable to find this out from Persimmon, or even what the actual internal dimensions are.

Seriously?
Are we looking at a Fiat500 ora Tesla Model X . Both are "cars" but knowing the former fits won't help you with the latter.
Though IME very few modern garages are large enough to hold a lawnmower, a push bike and half a dozen large spiders let alone a "car".0 -
There's a plan in this document, so you should be able to scale the dimensions from that.0

I'm not sure that AnotherJoe's comment is fair.
We bought a David Wilson Homes new build earlier this year and we can fit our Sierra XR4i in there as well as a work bench and tools and the spare fridge freezer.0 -
Thanks for the replies folks.
I didn't mention the type of car as I can soon change it - I was hoping someone might be able to say "I can't fit my xxxx in there".
Looking at the very useful plans (thanks davidmcn!) I'm estimating it's going to be just over 2.4m which is probably going to be tight to get out of even a small car.0 -
