Free TV license

Can a person apply for free TV license that will be 75 next month. No TV for 10 year, but would like to use bbc iplayer with TV license.
Aware free TV for 75 plus will cease in June for 75 plus. ;)

    Please remember that you don’t automatically get an over 75 TV Licence on your 75th birthday. You have to apply for one. We recommend you do this when you’re 74 years old, as it will make getting your over 75 TV Licence much simpler when you’re 75.
