    I have decided to retire this thread as my life has pretty much changed completely since I started it 3+ years ago :j
    1. I am now a dad to a beautiful, loving, mischevious toddler :)
    2. We've left our FTB flat for the house in the suburbs and I have no idea how we're going to pay it off ;)
    3. I start a new job next week with a defined benefit pension and the slavish adherance to the FI mantras of savings ratios and SWRs no longer fit
    4. I fear that I may be growing up a little bit :D
    5. We've nearly finished renovating the house and I don't feel the need to moan anymore!

    New and positive diary coming some time soon :beer:

    Your post reminds me that three years is actually quite a time and a lot does change during such a time period.
