    What, 31 looks and no one knows.

    maybe people looked in thinking it was a recipe or recipe request - if you had put 'where can I get condensed milk cheap?' as the title it may have avoided your frustration over views and no comments.

    Yep farmfoods sell it, and it's £1. It's £1.20 in Lidl.

    Evap milk is thin,about as thick as single cream,where condensed milk is thick and creamy and very sweet,boiled in the tin can be turned into carmel.

    some recipes need evap and some need condensed.

    Does anyone know where i can buy condensed milk for less than £1.20 a tin (sainsburys) as I use quite a lot in baking. Does anyone apart from carnation make it?
