Not sure if there's something in the water at the minute but I have yet again woken up with a feeling that I can take on anything the world chucks at me and a big smile inside...

Egg website finally working so I could reset my password and log on.

And the news is GOOD - rather than a balance of £2,200 (assumed I had maxed my card as it was declined and every time I went to check site was playing up) I 'only' owe £1,632.80:j. Off to update siggy:D

Must sort access to tesco card.......

I suppose it was better to have overestimated but feels like I've 'cheated' somehow:o

    Morning diary

Woke up with a stinking head cold but still managed to motivate myself to get to work. In my old job I'd be tucked under the duvet snoozing... Spot the change in attitude.

On the daily chat I have challenged everyone to do something different, no matter how small, to reduce their debt today. I have made lunch and am going for a NSD (normally I pop out at lunchtime and add a packet of crisps:o).

And I have a small dilemma... Have been planning for aaaaaaaaages to go shopping with a friend and Saturday is to be the day - coffee, shopping, lunch, more shopping, dinner and a vino or 2 then home - and I'm reeeeeeeeeeaaaally looking forward to it.... However a mutual friend as sent a text this morning inviting everyone over this Saturday to see the new addition. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see him and get a cuddle but I REALLY want my grown up afternoon with no child, husband on duties other than to have fun....

Bit of a dilemma there Luc but here are my thoughts....

Flip a coin heads its shopping and tails its friend and baby. If you are disappointed with the result then you should go with your heart and ignore the result.

Or logically you were invited shopping first, you have a long standing engagement, so go with your original plans...

Good idea - but have passed the buck to Gems as she will have been invited on Saturday too:p
