It actually doesn't, in neither of the two places I pointed you at.
It never ceases to amaze me that people still seem to think they shouldn't read the T&Cs that apply to their bank accounts but at the same time would accept anything any stranger on an Internet forum tells them.
Did you consider that not everyone has the time to trawl through multiple T&C and so they ask for help on a forum, which is what a forum is designed for. If people didn't ask questions like this and everyone had time to trawl the T&C, there would be no need for a forum. Generally if the advice is not correct, it gets corrected shortly by someone else and like Wiki (or any forum really). So generally it becomes surprisingly accurate, which is good enough for me.0 -

Interest and transfers from any other Santander accounts do not count towards the monthly funding amount.
The quote above comes from the 'account features' page. It's the T&Cs that govern the account, and said T&Cs refer you to the 'interest rates and fees information' document which states...
Interest and transfers into the account from another Santander account in your name (whether in your name or in joint names with another account holder) do not count towards your monthly amount.

Indeed, other posters have reported getting the interest when they've funded their accounts from a spouse's Santander account.0 -
I would like to open a Santander 123 account for the interest rate but do not have enough direct debits to transfer to the account in order to qualify (all my bills are included in the rent and I need the remaining direct debits for my other current account). Is it possible to set up direct debit donations with charities or similar to create additional ones? Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks
Better than that, open two Tesco Internet Saver accounts and then use those accounts to create your own Direct Debits, pulling money from the Santander to the Tesco accounts. When choosing the date for the DDs, remember that to Santander "monthly" means with respect to the day in the month when the account opened, not to the calendar.0 -

Play safe! Transfer the funds via a non-Santander account. That's the beauty of FPS0 -
With regards to the M&S Current Account £100 switching bonus, is there a certain number of standing orders or direct debits that need to be switched over?0

I've asked elsewhere but here may be a better shot;
I've looked through this thread, this forum and the Bank of Scotland T&Cs and I'd like to know if it is possible to open more than on Classic Vantage account?
YB hinted at such on another thread, but I can't find anything official either way.0 -

Here are the Vantage account T&Cs (only 2 pages long and your answer is on the first page!)...

I had already read through the T&Cs but it doesn't mention minimum number of standing orders and direct debits. I think I'll be safe just switching an account with just 2x £1 standing orders as I just got this e-mail response from M&S:
Thank you for your email.
To qualify for the £100 gift card for switching your bank account, you must use our Current Account Switching service.
The terms and conditions of this service can be found on our website: http://bank.marksandspencer.com/pdf/CPSwitchingTermsAndConditions.pdf
