    Farmageddon 10th October Islington
Come and see Farmageddon: A Shaun The Sheep Movie at a special free London preview screening – and some of the filmmakers will be there too.

One of the flat-out treats of this autumn is the brand new Aardman movie, Farmageddon: A Shaun The Sheep Movie, a film that beautifully manages to appeal to young children and older sci-fi nerds at the same time.

After much nagging on our part, our chums at StudioCanal are letting us show it to you early, too, in the latest Film Stories special reader preview screening!

It takes place on Thursday 10th October at 6 for 6.30pm. The nearest tube station to the venue is Angel.

What’s more, not only will you get to see the film a full eight days before its UK release, but we’ll be joined by some of the filmmakers for a natter too. And it’s all – to your good selves – free of charge!

Furthermore: we appreciate that you may want to bring children to this (appreciating it’s a school night). You can apply for as many seats as you’re going to use, and we’ll try and accommodate everyone if we can.

Please note that this isn’t a competition. We want to make sure that seats go to people who want them, and if that sounds like you, here are the necessaries!

    DETAILS

The screening takes place in London on Thursday 10th October. Time is 6 for a 6.30pm start. The nearest tube station to the venue is Angel.

To apply for a seat, please follow @FilmStoriesPod and send a tweet that reads along the lines of:

    Yes! Can I have a xxx seats for #FSShaunScreening please? @StudioCanalUK @filmstoriespod

Also, if you want to buy a copy of Film Stories magazine in person at the screening, you’ll be able to do so!

Note that if you are Twitter-averse, you can email us at simon at filmstories co uk. Twitter is the preferred, but understand not everybody uses it.

Look forward to seeing some of you this Thursday!

Academy Award-winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in LE MANS ‘66, based on the true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and the fearless British-born driver Ken Miles (Bale), who together battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Back To The Big Screen
    https://www.weticketit.com/seeitfirst/booking/Event/detail/LFI17089

    Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
    Back To The Big Screen
We're bringing this family classic back to the big screen for the whole family to see on 24th November.

It’s 1947 Hollywood and Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins), a down on- his-luck detective, is hired to find proof that Marvin Acme, gag factory mogul and owner of Toontown, is playing hanky panky with femme fatale Jessica Rabbit, wife of Maroon Cartoon superstar, Roger Rabbit. When Acme is found murdered, all fingers point to Roger, and the sinister, power-hungry Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) is on a mission to bring Roger to justice. Roger begs the Toon-hating Valiant to find the real evildoer and the plot thickens as Eddie uncovers scandal after scandal and realizes the very existence of Toontown is at stake. Who Framed Roger Rabbit is deliciously outrageous fun the whole family will enjoy.
