Certainly hasn't affected me....ever. Plus the poster is not a youngster. I don't think having two specialist cards is going to be an issue unless the poster in question is an avid stoozer.
They can of course apply for the Clarity instead and let the Creation Everyday go. If the back position that is important, not the sheer quantity.0 -
I have a Halifax Clarity card which I use as MSE suggests for foreign purchases and also for getting fee-less currency in ATMs abroad. I pay it off in full monthly by direct debit but because a cash transaction accrues interest daily I also pay those off with an additional money transfer (because, as MSE says, 'you're only charged interest until you've fully repaid the balance, so if you pay off the withdrawal amount as soon as you can (via internet banking while abroad, or when you get home) you can minimise interest'). All good. But Creation advised me today that I can't do a transfer to stop the interest accruing as I do with Halifax: any cash transfer merely reduces the amount paid by direct debit, so the interest continues to accrue, admittedly on very small residual amounts. Have other people had the same experience with Creation, or have I missed a trick?0

They can tell you whatever they like.....doesn't mean that it is true. They clearly meant, after the statement is produced0 -

I applied for and was immediately approved for a Creation credit card. PIN was sent through very quickly. I am, however, still awaiting the actual card, way past the promised delivery date. Contacting customer services no help as they just said they are very busy and to wait. As I am travelling next week, waiting may not be an option. Not impressed.0

So far so good.0 -
Hi, We took out a Creation Credit card to go on holiday to get Euros out of the cash point but we got caught out as although you can take up to £300 a day You can only take £500 in a week. Which was a disaster.0

I'm currently in Vietnam. I have a Clarity card. No problems with cash withdrawals. They have my itinerary. I pay withdrawals same day or next. First Direct say payments reach the recipient in 2 hours. Why does Halifax take 3 days to post it to the account but with the same day as date of receipt? Next....I received an email from Qatar airways whom I have used many times. I try to book a flight for £378 on Clarity. They say they will contact me on my registered number inside 5 minutes to confirm. I'm in Vietnam, not on my UK sim card. I booked using my Amex MBNA. Well done Halifax.0

Hi,
I have just got my creation card and noticed the following on their website:
https://myaccount.creation.co.uk/info/faq.html
When I use my credit card abroad will I incur any charges for doing so?
Yes there is a 2.99% foreign conversion charge. If you withdraw cash abroad, there is also a £5 or 5% cash handling fee (whichever is the greater)
Is that correct? I though there were no fees?0
