There were problems with the original thread in that it disappeared and could not be reinstated.

So a new thread was created and we all started again, unfortunately that thread also seems to have joined it's predecessor.

So here's a new one. We need to hear about Suki's lamb casserole and Island Maid is back from Amsterdam and must have delights to tell us about.

Maybe if the old one can be found then this can be merged?

    Anyway without further ado...

Sliced roast chicken, petit pois, Yorkshires and stuffing all from the freezer with a little bit of LO mash with chives and some gravy.

Absolutely no idea what OH had when he got in as I was still working.

A game pie from the depths of the freezer, broad beans from the allotment and mashed potatoes and gravy. If we have any room after that there's rhubarb crumble made in the fridge and low fat custard.

Thai red curry (butternut squash and quorn pieces) with rice for both of us tonight. Had planned on some being LO but OH had 3 portions...glad he enjoyed it

Not sure what tomorrow will be - OH usually finishes work early and eats when he gets in and I'll do something later. I'm thinking perhaps popcorn shrimp and vegetable rice for me. Currently feel like I'm just working through all the stuff OH can't eat like a food bin.

I made some Greek chicken kebabs and tried to do some with halloumi, but it kept crumbling up when I sliced it. We had that with salad and couscous, hummus and pitta breads.

Best wishes to your BIL for a speedy recovery, IM. Life can just turn on a sixpence, can't it?

I have a couple of wraps left to use up so was planning to just do simple refried bean/cheese/chilli quesadillas with them tonight, but I am also currently searching for online restaurant deals in my area and if I find a decent one, I might treat Mister CJ to supper out I've got that Friday Feeling.
