I cannot believe it's over a year since I started this diary and then went AWOL

So much has happened, both good and bad and I really will try and update on a regular weekly basis. As when I first started posting and joining the NSD challenges etc it really helped my motivation!

So, without making my fingers ache, will keep it brief....my self managed DMP is ticking over, all creditors happy and having 6 monthly reviews. Mortgage arrears will be paid off by the end of the year. I'm still aiming for my goal of debt free in 23

Have been planning my retirement plans in my head as I don't have a personal pension, will need some sort of income

I got into this mess mainly because my business took a dive so have been re inventing myself. My son has made me a nice website and I'm running different offers and promotions and am getting two to three new clients every week!

I also have a part time evening job lined up, it's not guaranteed I have got it yet. That's dependant on CRB check but I haven't been naughty, just careless with money

It's free listing on eBay today and tomorrow, so off to make a start on clearing some of my crap....oh I mean quality items :rotfl:

I have just been reading this thread you sound very determined, I wish you all the best on your debt free journey.

As for the sig, if you go towards the top of the page there is a green bar and on there is User CP, click on that. Then down the left hand side you will see an option to edit your sig. Hope that helps.

Funny old week really....it seems when I get sniff of a part time job, work picks up and I think....hmm, what to do. Well this time, I'm going for the job....there will still be lean times in the business and if there isn't, well the extra will be thrown at my debts. Win, win really....unless of course I work so hard that I make myself ill :rotfl:

I haven't officially got this little job yet but am going for two days of training, so pretty sure I will get it.

Eating out tomorrow, courtesy of mystery shopping....so at least one square meal this week :D

Hmm, not quite sure what to or what to make of things now!

Off I go to the training day only to find out when I get there that it's cancelled! No call or email, so quite unprofessional in my opinion!!! My quandary is.....do I try again, which means taking day off work. Apparently, once training is one I def have the job but do I want to work for them after them cancelling without notice?!?, but I've been trying to get part time position that fits around my work without any luck

I know I sound picky about the hours but there's no point taking a job that encroaches on my business hours....catch 22
