    Official MSE Insert:

Thanks to Grimbal for starting this thread, where compulsive Rightmove browsers share their funniest finds. Scroll down for Playboy mansions, unusual extensions, toilets in wardrobes and mysterious presences under bedcovers.

    Back to the original post...

Thought I'd start off a new thread as the other one was getting to be pretty long. The old thread can be found here.

How about starting up a thread dedicated to the interesting properties that we come across in our searches ?

I'm guessing these guys don't invite their granny over to watch TV

Beautiful house but did someone steal the handrail from the stairs - pic 11

Very flowery description from the estate agent - hilarious!

I really don't get the seven month occupancy business. Is it intended to support tourism in the area?

I was wondering as well how come a "dual bed" like that is there in a 1 bedroom flat - as that's the type of bed that goes in a child's bedroom or guest bedroom (with the 2nd bed occasionally occupied by visiting relative or childs friend).

Ghost town for 5 months, but a dump at any time in my book!

    Quaint? Definitely

    Err..... did you say "cosy?"

    See EPC!

    Also, "Semi-Detached but Not Overlooked"

Apart from the neighbour's window and balcony (Pic 23) that is...

Spot the enormous great chimney(?) attached to the house - and wonder why, followed by wondering why they didn't take the main photo from another angle.

Spot the "mix and match" bathroom fittings.

Wonder why there is paint on some of the bricks by the exterior door and think "I'd be making an absolute highlight of the fact the house is bricks - rather than render - so would want that paint off quicksharp to help highlight its Selling Point imo (in an area where so many houses are rendered)".
