IF you are close to a MORRISONS ....
...then get your CARROTS FREE
They are handing out their bags of WONKY Carrots (usually 41p) for NOWT !</snip>Thanks Quioa...wonky I do.
Correction on the Morrisons WONKY Carrots front.
Contrary to the article in the Sun and/or Mirror .....
.... it's NOT the "NORMAL" 1kg bag of Wonky carrots (reportedly 41p but actually 35p in my store)
BUT
a "SPECIAL" bag (brown paper) containing a (single) MAGIC (Wonky) Carrot intended to be used as REINDEER FOOD
Collected 2 earlier today for a couple of children I think would "appreciate" feeding the "engines" of Santa's sleigh.
Must admit I did pick the 2 largest carrots I could find - both long enough and fat enough to use as a rolling pin
Just weighed them and each is over half a pound - 9 ounces / 258 grams actually
While examining one of these huge monsters I did enquire of a member of the grocery team what size batteries did it take and which end did you put them in !!! :rotfl:

May well have featured an English sparkling wine and from ALDI but it wasn't the Cremant du Jura - that's definitely French (from the Jura region bordering Switzerland near Geneva)

ALDI do have a very new addition (since October 2016) of their 1st English sparkling wine - developed exclusively for Aldi by the supermarket’s buying team, created in collaboration with the winemakers of Denbies Wine Estate.
It's NOT CHEAP - £14.99 a bottle - and called CHALK VALLEY

I'd been in both A & L yesterday and none is stocking the things I always purchased there before Christmas especially, hard to believe that all of it is out of stock in both stores - Marzipan for baking, Cocoa powder in the baking isle (all your round until recently) and from the chiller all butter puff pastry. Very disappointed indeed. No labels on the shelves so probably discontinuedFirst they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0

I don't watch the programme but maybe they confused the Jura region of France with the Scottish Island?
:rotfl:
This is what's on the website although what they sell in the shops doesn't have a blue label.
