Can you still call it a double garage if you can't even fit one car in it?

It has two doors, therefore it is by definition double. Double what is not the question.

On an unrelated note, that is one hell of a conservatory an otherwise nice but unremarkable 4-bed: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-51895452.html

Freakishly ugly from the front, unexpectedly cosy (or potential to be, anyway) inside and at the back: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-59409173.html

Cute house though, I'd live in it if it weren't for the location.

Shower room out and put it in "bedroom 5" and swop the garden shed over to the other side of the house (so one isnt sitting in the conservatory staring at it). I'd also knock down the wall between loo and bathroom to grab a bit more space for the bathroom.

But like the house - even as it currently is.

EDIT; and is that a hot tub in garden? That would have to go...

I'll keep the hot tub and turn bedroom 4 into a jack and Jill bathroom, releasing some space to make 5 bigger. Can't stand the idea of a bathroom in the dining room so that will have to go. Fortunately I can't afford to buy the place

Take it a bit more off the main round and it's a seller, just up the road from me in fact. Shame I'll never be able to afford anything that much.

Yeah honestly it's a lovely house, I'd just sacrifice bedroom 5 for a bathroom and get rid of the one in the dining room. Otherwise, if I could move it to a quieter location, it would be just about perfect.

Definitely agree it needs some layout rejigging ;)

No bathroom serving the upper bedrooms, the weird dining room with shower room off set-up and utility too far from the kitchen for my liking.....and that's just for starters!

Not keen on Worthing/busy road location though.....

Same here! I miss ours that we sold with our previous house - it had moved twice with us despite being a beast and requiring a specialist 'dolly' to relocate, lol - and plan to get another (smaller) one when we move. Can't wait :D

Much more attractive at the back than the front elevation!

I can identify with that as our current house is not a looker from the lane - butt-ugly in fact - yet it's stunningly pretty from the garden side.....the side that's rarely seen, lol! When we bought it, it was actually one of the things that attracted us. Visitors usually get the 'wow' factor when they see it for the first time ;)

It certainly wouldn't put me off viewing, although I guess it won't appeal to everyone.
