    Sadly it isn't.

I don't think I could cope with anything other than FULL!

    Thanks

Yes, our cat wont touch anything else.

To correct my earlier post - 6 pints of SEMI at ALDI is £1.48

    ASDA's 6 pint is the same £1.48 I believe

ICELAND do both Semi & FULL for £1.45

Discussion about them here - over 40 replies - some regarding Branston.

    NEGATIVE
Bought some of these last week.
Don't think I will bother again.
They were small and hard and not much taste,
    nothing like the Branston beans.
    POSITIVE
Strange how different tastes can be.
We always used to have Heinz beans.
When we discovered Lidl Newgate beans we thought they were much better!
far more beans, less liquid and tasted good!
at £1 for 4 tins can't go wrong

    I currently get Branston's for 30p a can - that's 3 for a £1 at Farmfoods - then save 10% with their £2.50 off a £25 spend coupon ...

... that can be found here

    In which case ...

..... IF you have a NISA nearby - you might find these at 6 for £1

[Christmas Ice Cream Bites from Aldi]

I finally got hold of the Marc de Champagne flavour, and they are delicious. They definitely need to be left to thaw slightly, and the flavour and texture are not as good straight from the freezer.
Thanks for the tip. I tracked some down today (well concealed under the 12-mini-eclairs for 75p) but still prefer the mint flavour. For all my mithering about the product I did by some more "yellow ones that taste of strawberry" as my niece is staying with me this weekend. The opportunities to treat her are fast diminshing and its rare for her to ask for more of anything, but today she ate one, then another, then asked for "number three".

Seems it is all down to personal taste (as usual)

I too get Branston beans for 30p a tin but I never spend enough to be able to use a voucher :o

The Aldi Christmas wrapping paper is fantastic value.

Good choice of designs, some for kids, some more classic styles. A massive 12m for 99p, it's not thin or see through. Best of all it has the grid on the back so it is easy to cut straight.

I see the Lidl stollen's (https://www.lidl.co.uk/en/Offers.htm?articleId=8256) half price this weekend.

I've found the Aldi and Lidl stollens variable in the past - cheap but not necessarily very good.

Anybody got any thoughts on these Lidl Favorina ones?
