What happens if... 23rd Jun 19 at 1:06 PM
    Hi all,

First time posting, and hope this is the right place to ask this question...

I've recently applied for credit for a DFS sofa and been accepted for the loan, but due to change in circumstances, I've had to pay it in full to allow the sofa to be delivered to another address - apparently if its on finance it has to be to the registered address etc.

This finance has been hard searched on my credit report (understandably) but will this now come off my report due to my not actually taking the loan out or as it's been searched for will this remind on my report?

    Thanks,

    Ian

It'll be on there for 6 months. Whether you take the finance or not doesn't make a difference.

The search will stay but one search will have very little impact.
Are you planning on applying for any other credit in the next few months?
