Yeah it's a total bummer monz but nevermind. Finished work late today so will have to pick the car up in the morning.

NSD today other than £4 on bus fare. Got a check through from my insurance company for £9.12, not entirely sure what for but it will be a little extra paid off the debt once it's paid in and cleared. I've also redeemed £21.49 from PA :D
    Debt Dec 2022 - £2972.68. Current debt - £0 (100% paid). Flat deposit - £10542.72/£15000 (70.3% saved). Emergency fund - £1402.24/£1500 (93.5% saved).

Picked up the car on the way to work, cost £77.23. Paid £2.77 to the debt. So car fund is now sitting at £70. Once I get the money from PA, I'll pay £1.49 to the debt and split the rest between the car fund and the emergency fund.

Ended up leaving work early yesterday, felt incredibly ill, no energy and waves of sickness. Slept for 14 hours and now feel fine. Not sure what was wrong - there has been a bug going around work but I wasn't actually sick, maybe just a reaction to reintroducing gluten.

Thanks INOD :D I've been feeling terrible since then with a really bad cold but it's now thankfully starting to ease.

The last 4 days have been a total write off due to being ill and working incredibly long hours. Not been at all organised and have just been grabbing quick food from the supermarket on the way home from work which has had an impact on the food budget.

Was on night shift last night so haven't done anything today other than sleep and then watch the rugby that I recorded. At least it's been a NSD :)

Tomorrow's plan is to meal plan, go shopping and batch cook some meals for during the week. I imagine that this week will be more of the same work wise so will try and be more organised. Also need to tidy and clean the flat, it's an absolute disaster zone

Got all the jobs done yesterday :D. Spent £36.08 on food, £6.39 on cleaning products, £37.52 on petrol, £10 transferred to my sister for a mother's Day gift, £10 transferred to a friend for sympathy flowers for another friend and £10 taken out the bank to put into a collection at work. So a very spendy day yesterday. Have taken £30 out of the social budget to pay for the flowers and collection.

So budgets currently look like this
    - £101.06/£150 food  little bit more than I'd hoped to spend this far through the month
    - £7.39/£20 cleaning products
    - £37.52/£60 petrol
    - £45/£150 social

The last few days have been NSDs :D. The social budget will take a bit of a hit over the next few days as I'm going to the cinema tonight after work and tomorrow we're going to the pub with friends to watch the rugby.

Spends for yesterday were £6.99 at the cinema (£4.99 ticket and £2 on snacks and juice at £land :money:) and £12.15 on a food shop. £4 of that was on a large chicken so we'll have roast chicken tomorrow and leftovers throughout the week.

Best go and get ready as we're meeting friends at 12 to watch the rugby :D

Yesterday spends were £99.95 while out :o which is not great but we were out for over 12 hours and had drinks, a meal out and taxi home so I guess it could have been worse. I've now gone slightly over the social budget and still have leaving drinks for a colleague and a hen night to attend this month. The hen night is right at the end of the month so I'll have been paid again and I will just drink soft drinks at my colleagues leaving do.

Today has been a NSD :D. Had a yummy chicken dinner for tea and made chicken curry which has gone in the freezer. Tomorrow's tea will be cold chicken, hm chips and salad. Hopefully there will enough to go into egg fried rice on Tuesday. Will need to go to the supermarket tomorrow as OH is about to run out of milk and will need to get lettuce for the salad.

I've made a £5.35 payment to the car debt today which takes it to 22% paid off :D
