Did anyone bag a Mini SNES before they sold out?

  • You can get wireless pads for the mini nes which I assume will also work with the mini snes as well.
  • I was literally right place right time - I preordered on the Nintendo site and told my colleagues at work. By the time they tried 10mins later they had sold out!

Doh! Must be out of stock again. Seems a few sites, including the official Nintendo site, have had some stock for pre-order in the past week, but they all go within minutes.
  • For anyone still interested there are rumours Asda will have some limited stock in branches from the morning. Somebody who works For them posted on Eurogamer that they had 5 booked into his store.

Very happy this evening as Toys R Us have confirmed mine has shipped. Someone made a fraudulent attempt to use my CC so had to cancel and get a new card issued. As Toys R Us don't take payment until they ship I was not expecting the order to go through. No idea if / how they have taken payment, just happy it is on its way.

None of my local shops had any in stock this morning, except Game but they were all pre-order stock, none for sale. My nearest Argos had 2 in stock that were both reserved..... none of the shops get any advance warning of more stock, so just need to keep checking, but John Lewis for example got some in stock, only to sell out almost immediately today. I think I'll just need to hope Nintendo are true to their word about having more stock and continuing to sell into 2018!

Great, just missed out on some stock at Asda Direct! Thought I'd nabbed one as it was showing as in stock and then added to your basket, but when I went to checkout, "oh no your basket is empty" :p

Great to see over on HUKD that people have been able to buy them from Smyths and Asda today, including this guy who now has three!

No idea what he's doing with them, but hope all the scalpers who are going to try and cash in end up not being able to shift them as people will be willing to wait for Nintendo's promised new stock. :D

I am aware that this is almost a month old thread - but I am still unable to source a Nintendo SNES Classic Mini console....
Would anybody know of any seller with them in stock (at normal price) ?
I am not prepared to be ripped off by Amazon (£115 +)
Even "game" are hosting these rip off merchants - (£167)
  • Argos say on the website, only available to order in-store, I so happened to be walking past one yesterday and they had one in stock (not showing on website) £79.99 which I bought. Also had the option on screen to order for collection on Tuesday.
I would suggest trying local stores as you never know!
