Hi All
Just bought a Honda NC750x for my 50 mile commute
It claims 80 mpg and getting 80 mpg on motorway and 90 mpg if keep off motorway
Saving me a fortune in petrol
Not a fast motorbike but still enjoying the ride
Regards

Wait until the dark evenings, cold, rain/hail/sleet/snow/ice I think you'll find it somewhat less enjoyable.0 -

You still have the option of driving or taking public transport on the very rare day that the weather is truly awful.0 -

This. Occasionally I’d get the bus (snow/lots below zero conditions because if black ice) but if wearing the right gear you’re fine 95-99% of the time.0 -

Yes, you'll be fine as long as you have the right gear. I used to use my bikes all year round for commuting and go for longish rides on dry Winter days. Gear's looking better than ever these days as well.
If you can give it a quick wash down when you get back to get the salt off it'll stay looking good for a lot longer.0 -
Enjoy!! I am a fair weather biker and so I am not getting the use I should, but its there for when the planets align, good weather and no requirement to be carrying paperwork, laptops etc.Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.
