Lisbon coast hotel 18th Jun 19 at 6:39 AM
Can anyone recommend an hotel along Lisbon coast. Planning on few days in Lisbon and few in Cascais/Estoril. Finding it hard trawling through hotel reviews. Finally decided on one to find it was full. We haven't been to this part of Portugal before so any advice welcome.

    Budget?
Hotel Baia and hotel albatroz ( pricey) are nice.
    Much prefer cascais to estoril.
If you can get there there is a fabulous beach down the coast called Guincho.

The hotel in the forefront is the hotel baia

Both were on my list and both gone for my dates. Thanks anyway. Look like lovely hotels. Dates are 1/8/19-6/08/19 5 nights. Would like it to be less than 1000 but with some luxury, less would be nice, as we are also spending 3 nights in Lisbon. Looking at the Epic Sana Hotel for that part.

Sintra is also an amazing place to stay, and a bit cooler if it's hot

Sintra is much cheaper. Is it isolated or easy to travel to the coast?

I've used Sintra as a base to get into Lisbon before, train line into Lisbon is good and runs late. Good frequency Monday to Friday, need to plan more for the weekend. Sintra is full of great sites, have been there twice for four and three days and still more to see. The tram down to the beach is now working, but the beach area it goes to was okay, but nothing special.

Think Sintra is better connected to Lisbon than the coast.

Looking for more hotel recommendations then in Cascais, please. So cross missed the Hotel Baia.

Anyone know Eurostars Cascais near the marina?

Thanks. Do all the rooms have balconies? Really would like balcony and sea view.

Our room had a huge wraparound balcony as we were on the end of the building. Pool and sea view.

Massive room with a small kitchenette, electric hob, fridge etc, so 'light' self catering was possible.

We booked direct with the hotel and they sorted out a private driver from and to the airport for us.
