Official Trying to Conceive - Thread 13

Hi all, hope everyone is well.


Congratulations on the BFPs, wishing a happy and healthy 9 months .


Sorry to those where the witch showed up.


We went for a follow up appointment with the gynae last week (after the HSG and internal examinations back in Nov), she said there was nothing they could do for us, but that it was a positive that there is nothing wrong with us and to keep trying for another year before they would consider IVF via NHS. I cried . I still think there is something wrong with me.


There's 2 ladies at work who are going off on maternity soon, my sister also next month. My cousins are also giving birth any minute. I feel such a failure...2 years of trying and not 1 single BFP...


But no point mopping about, I'm thinking of trying acupuncture - perhaps it might help to 'de-stress' and keep me relaxed. The only thing is, it is quite pricey. Is any one able to shed some light on this treatment?

Aw Lily Rose wish I could give you a hug hun! I don't know a lot about it but anything that can be relaxing must be helpful..

Twig - I think I prob OV around day 15 so guessing im 8DPO but this is a guess as didn't get to use OV tests.
Literally the last week has been mental and had a fair few cries as just seem to be getting really stressed out about everything. Work is really hard at the moment, house buying stuff is scary stressful, both mine and the OH cars are both on the blink and TTC..argh just a lot and no where seems to be an escape at the mo. Need to find a way to relax!

Lily - If you head back to around pages 40 area there is some talk about acupuncture or do a search this thread. If I remember Clarabell had acupuncture and I'm sure some others did and found it helpful. I had reki the month I conceived and it stuck with this one and I swear it helped, so that may be worth looking in to also

Sorry for being a bit AWOL.

I was ill and off work for a week and then was getting back in to the swing of work.
