Yocking
Hi can anyone advise. I took out an IVA some years ago and completed. I have been clear of debt for many years now. However the company I used took charges in access of 12k which was an insurance premium against the debt. Can I claim this money back as this seems to fit the remit of PPI.
Thank you in advance.

The £12k was more than likely the IP fees and nothing to do with insurance. I assume you paid at least 25% towards the debt you owned. You have won already.0

No, they were your IP fees for administration of your IVA.
They are clearly stated, and are not yours to reclaim.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
