We have had Errant son home now for nearly 10 months now :eek:

(we get paid every 28 days and at the mo payday Friday is falling mid month so I just have to shuffle wages into the various savings accounts for another 2 weeks - for a couple of weeks it feels like you are well comfortable and you have to resist the urge to look at cruise timetables LOL )

If anyone has the Marks on the hill they have a wine tasting event in February You have to sign up instore and pay a £10 deposit - redeemable instore against a bottle - I expect other big Marks are doing similar so its worth asking in your store

No, still waiting for a date - possibly February - but then he will still be shuffling back and to as I think they have a long weekend in the middle of phase 1 and a longer gap between phase 1 and phase 2 ...

So he will be gone for weeks at a time but his bedroom full of stuff wont be - possibly sometime next year ...

Possibly a student house where someone has bailed out before Christmas and decided not to go back ...

Or try airbandb you might find a room in a shared house - might be Ok to fill in a short gap before a move in date.
There are a couple of travelodges close by - quite cheap £50 on a Saturday and £35 on a Sunday night ..
