Excuse me if this has been mentioned or is rubbish ... Just got email from mightydeals offering a Shell Drivers Loyalty card for a tenner which gives £20 worth of petrol. Thought I`d mention it although there`s bound to be a catch, lol.

Thanks to all the nice folk who`ve given me advice here, btw

What's your experience with MightyDeals ?

Anyone/Everyone mostly happy or been left high & dry and out of pocket ?

Only I know nothing of them, and a deal that LOOKS TOO GOOD ?

AND a search of MSE has found what appears to be some unhappy dealings.

    Looking for feedback :)

They offer a 7 day 100% money back guarantee but that is useless for this offer as you have to wait for the card to arrive, then register and finally wait for the petrol voucher to arrive in 6 weeks!!

As Shell is always more expensive locally, I think I'll give this one a miss - shame but it really does sound too good to be true.

Look forward to hearing any feedback that is more positive.

    Still live here: http://www.mightydeals.co.uk/deals/national/Home-Garden/Shell-Drivers-Club-Loyalty-Card-/6955?affiliateid=405&campaign=EM1785A

(this link is for Mighty Deals, though the landing page is branded as moneyexpert.com who run Mighty Deals)

Note that the offer is £10 for a loyalty card preloaded with 4000 points - which, at 500 points = £2.50 in vouchers gives £20 in vouchers, though you have to register the card and then redeem the points and wait a few weeks for the voucher to actually arrive...

And you can choose a Waitrose voucher instead... - so this is £10 for £20 at Waitrose if you don't want petrol/diesel. See the redemption info on their page here: https://www.shelldriversclub.co.uk/smart/about/Redeem.html?site=en-en

have you actually read the offer? It's for a card preloaded with £20 worth of points (4000 pts). You can't get one of those free from a garage...

    Hi Quoia

We've had a few dealings with Mighty Deals - they're not quite as reliable as they should be, but seem to be generally real offers, just with poor support. The worst aspects I've seen of them has been the emails (after lengthy periods of inactivity) offering 'Mighty Cash' vouchers of £5 or £10 to redeem on new purchases. In my experience the 'Mighty Cash' never actually activates and is clearly just a ploy to get you going back to the site! They're not quite as Mighty as they like to think they are.

But I might give this offer a try - even if I end up using it for Waitrose vouchers not diesel. It's a Mighty long run-in time though - I'm guessing two months before getting the actual voucher.
