    What’s the point of paying of a credit card in full every month.....

    It shows you can use credit sensibly.

    Just using your debit card tells them nothing about your ability to handle credit. Only that you are probably afraid of it.

    Ok. I’m not from a culture of credit cards and I always thought they were for people who didn’t have money. I shall get one.
