Got a reply today from wonga they have rejected my claim which is disheartening, I wonder if it is worth taking to FOS? Will the require bank statements? One of the bank accounts I used has now been closed.

    Hi there,

My wife was once knee deep in debt with PDL, albeit a few years back now, would she still be able to claim potential interest back? If so, is there a form/template she could use to send out to them?

    Cheers,

Hi, all info and templates is on debtcamel . com under reclaiming payday loans header. You'll have a good chance if your wife's loans were within the last 6 years, any older than this may be difficult, but not impossible. Thanks

Got word back from Ferratum today. Rejected the claim of irresponsible lending however refunded me back £100 goodwill.

My total interest was only about £160.00 and most of the loans weren't actually unaffordable.

Something I never thought id see but happy days.

Just to let you guys know that the ombudsman has reviewed my complaint for 247moneybox and agrees with the adjudicator that they should refund interest on most of my loans. They didn't even bother to respond to the adjudicator so if you are in this position don't give up.

Only Wonga to go now :-)

7 weeks into my complaints with Wonga, WageDayAdvance and Sunny and it's Wonga that have been first to come back with an offer.

They've offered £510 which I'm going to accept, It would probably be upped a bit if I took it to the FOS but it's not worth the months of waiting.

Hopefully Sunny and WDA will follow suit in the next week or so, Wonga was the one I was least hopeful about so it bodes well

I'll update again if/when I hear from them.

    Week 3!

QQ - Asked for bank statements & payslips, I said I didn't have them and have been informed that they "may not be able to fully address your points" without them. So not holding out much hope.

Wonga - Replied saying my details didn't match the ones they had on file (I've married since), confirmed they're looking in to it and will "investigate as quickly as we can".

SafetyNet Credit - Replied instantly saying they will aim to reply within 4 weeks, but in some cases it takes 8 weeks. We will see.
