For those who do swagbucks, MSE has got swagbucks to agree to a double bonus if using MSE link. It doesn't matter if already signed up or a brand new user. Read this post for more information on how to do it.

Welcome to old and new members. It is lovely seeing you all.

some amazing targets met and smashed last month. Well done to you all.

    :beer::j:T:money:

I am sat here with a cupboard full of junk that needs selling and shifting. A room with a corner of stuff that needs sorting. Some to go to charity shop, some to be sold.

And a pile of paperwork that needs sorting, filing, shredding etc.

it is far too easy to procrastinate, especially for me. To make a do list. Because I have notebooks and pens... but to actually follow through any of it......

so I think we all need to give ourselves a virtual kick and try and make one small target daily.

I say only one as then you start feeling stressed and pressurised when you have a massive long list of things you want to achieve.

Your one item might be to upload your receipt to all the receipt apps that will take it.

That in itself is an achievement and means you are one baby step closer to cashing out at some point.

Your one item might be to list something on ebay/selling page/etsy/mumsnet/musicmagpie etc. ( ok music magpie is a silly one as you need multiple items to make it worth your while.)

Your one item might be to play that free game where you could potentially win money.

Your one item might be to enter a competition, particularly if low entry and see if you win.

The lists are endless. The rewards are many.

I had to rush around yesterday and today cleaning and tidying for an estate agent to come and value the house. He told my Landlord he would be here an hour- hour and a half. He was here 5 minutes!

I really could have done with a rest yesterday and today. It was a long weekend for me and now I will have no time to rest or relax.

BUT looking around at how clean and tidy the house is, I wish it would always look like this. If it did, I wouldn't be rushing around tidying all the time. The cleaning still needs to be done.

we have no storage and furniture in the wrong places. Which means I have bags of paperwork and things everywhere. I tried to buy baskets to try and tidy things up, but it means more cleaning....:rotfl:

So don't despair and give up. This is a long haul thing best undertaken with baby steps. xx

Loved this post. What good advice :T I decided to make a start by running the swagbucks apps on my phone. A couple of them have updated and there doesn't seem to be an option to run short clips anymore. Will investigate further later but have earned my first 10 sb :T

How was the wedding Aesop? Hope you had a lovely time.

Despite all that's going on here I have made a good start to the month as follows

    £80 slots win
    £19.99 Argos refund
    .10 citizenme
    £17.50 Shopmium
    £25.23 CheckoutSmrt
    £1.04 interest tsb

    £143.86

Really pleased with that but need to keep up the momentum as lots going out at the moment too and water and council tax both start up again this month!

Had a productive day yesterday sorting out bills and making long overdue phone calls. Changed my Sky package an d will save about £60 a month although I don't think that will start until May so will add the savings then. Have been meaning to do this for months so glad it's sorted at last.

Have an appointment for a mammogram today - oh the joys of being a woman! Need to book myself a haircut, dental check and an eye test while I am off too and have a doctors appointment next week - a complete mot!

Not a lot to add for me so far. £4.47 from crowdology.
However a work colleague mentioned to me yesterday an app called The Cash show - they have 2 live shows a day and you have a chance to win money from answering trivia questions correctly not sure people are aware of it but thought I'd share with everyone.

Postman has just been with a letter confirming intention to payout on a PPI claim:j:j:j. This was on such a short-lived small loan and I hadn't any paperwork to even give me hope that I really did have PPI on it:o. Over the moon to hear that I did and they are paying out £663 on it:dance:. Payment should arrive within 28 days so might arrive this month. Not holding my breath though. Will add it to total when it's safely in my bank account.
