    There are posts on this forum going back many years, so it should be clear that posts are not routinely deleted after a few weeks. A small proportion of posts are deleted for a number of specific reasons, as suggested above.

    Or if a certain number of people take it upon themselves to start reporting posts or posters. Due to not having an abundance of staff the forum team tend to delete without considering whether it's warranted or not if enough people hit the button.
