Thank you for my star Sue-UU

Had a busy weekend as my elderly mother had a fall and has broken her hip - A & E on a Saturday night is not where any of us want to be, I'm sure! Poor old thing, she has dementia and kept trying to get out of bed so we had to keep reminding her that she had broken her hip! A good sense of humour and endless patience is absolutely essential in these circumstances. Luckily I had my sister with me to help keep me sane!

Not much happening potting wise, only 33p today. Keep warm and well potters. :)

Sorry to hear this, glad you had company, and wishing your mother a quick recovery from her broken hip.

Evening all folks! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend...and kept warm! To all those members who are ill, low or in a pickle in anyway, here's hoping you will soon be feeling so much better. For now, please accept these {{{Hugs}}} from all the SPC family! :grinheart

Nice regular potting Iheart, very well done indeed!! :D

Good savings Jaydee 92!! :T I know they’re a pest but whilst they are there at least you’re benefiting in a different sort of way!! Fingers crossed they’re gone soon.

Very many thanks indeed Owen, it’s always a relief to know that members have put their Nos on their siggys! Well done with getting yourself started on potting too!!!! I’ve just seen your latest post - brilliant potting!!! :jVery wise in not keeping a running total!!!

It seems that banks are a law unto themselves, MrsShazbat, and best not worried about. :(I hope your DH is so much better now.

That’s the one that you quoted, Saver-upper! I knew it was nothing to do with the OH part as you’ve used that many times in the past and I knew you weren’t married from what you said a year or so ago anyway. Anyway, I’m just so glad we’ve sorted that out as it can so often makes a difference on how we speak!

So long as you’re ok with how you’re saying, adventureofmemories, that’s perfectly ok with me. Good savings!!:j

Brilliant work dustydigger!!! :DI hear all our family moaning about March as it’s mine and my Son’s Birthdays! Yet my Daughter and her DH’s Birthdays are in February along with DGD’s hubby too!
Hubby & I had our first DGGS in September and Hubby & I celebrated our 46th anniversary yesterday!!!! Where do all the years go dustydigger?!! :(

Well saved 32b3! :D I suppose Santander will be the next ones to follow suit. It seems as though banks and BSs are against we savers! :(

Oooh very well done mrs-moneypenny!!!! :j I think everyone’s pretty well here at present though there are a lot of colds and especially horrible coughs around our village at the mo.

You’re most welcome twigletsmum. I seen you’re up and away with saving which is wonderful, beware though as it’s addictive which is fantastic!!! :j

A very Happy New Year to you also Dizzy Imp! Well done your girls with their laying, to you with saving the egg money too!!!! :D
I've added twice to my sealed pot over the weekend YAY!!

Excellent potting simplesavingislandlife!!!! I do believe you’re becoming addicted!!!!! :dance:Reading your latest post really made me giggle. Don’t worry about it, heck of a great amount though!!!

A very wise decision Whatshername, wonderful potting too!!!! :D

You sound like me, babs103, it’s usually just once a week that DH & I go to town, he HATES shopping unless it’s anything to do with carpentry or photography! Well potted!!! :D

I’m so sorry to hear about your poor Mum, siju, it’s so sad that she also has dementia. I do hope she’s able to recover well. I really can sympathise with you and your Sister with the dementia as my Mum has altzheimers for many years and getting through to them as such a problem. I had my DH as back up but - my Mum got that all wrong and according to her - he was me!!!

Oh very well done Vicky!!! Have you checked the trail behind your DH recently?! :rotfl:

Well folks, WE'VE TOPPED THE £50.000!!!!! :j:T:j We're not going to reach last year's Grand Total, but we did excellently!!!!!!!!!

    Sue
