You need to use the Fn button along with whichever relevent F1-12 button it is showing you the order in which the laptop boots, you shoould be able to set SATA HDD as default or go into the bios and turn off the boot options menu.

If the menu pops up every time you press 0 or Ctrl key, then the Fn lock is on. To turn the Fn Lock off press the Fn Lock button.

The alternate function of the 0 key in the number pad or the Ctrl key on some models is to open a menu. This is indicated by the blue menu icon on the key.

You can access this function normally by pressing the Fn key and the 0 or Ctrl key.

i presume you need to boot from SATA HDD which is where your operating system is installed? Unless your trying to boot from usb to install a replacement operating system ?
