Easyjet - Acceptable forms of ID 27th May 09 at 11:53 AM
    Morning all

Just a quick question, as I now don't agree with Ryanair's policy of not allowing driving license's for domestic flights I am moving across to easyjet instead, but have to ask what are their acceptable forms of I.D. for domestic flights. For reference I am going from Stansted to Glasgow International

    Many Thanks

It's fine to use a driving license on an easyjet flight domestically.

I'm the same about ryanair, will only use them if forced.

thats brilliant, I just find them so interested in the hard sell nowadays, its no longer fun flying with them (i flew from PIK to STN yesterday and they must have come down the aisle 3 times with the menu's in an hour long flight)

I'm not going to slate Ryanair because theyre cheap and if I had actually receieved my new passport I'd probably be flying with them.

However Easyjet are fab. I've never had a flight delayed with them, they do a call bell only service on the 35 minute long flight I do and I can even understand the pilot with the update! And the website is basically what you see is what you pay. It's a lot easier for me. But like I said Ryanair has it's qualities, including those lovely 1 fares!

I got one for OH the other day. Durham Tees Valley to Dublin flying at 13.45 on a Monday...thats all good for us.

We should have an Easyjet vs Ryanair thread, think it would be quite an interesting discussion

i know what you mean, sadly pretty much all my flights are stansted to Prestwick (i work in cambridge, GF lives near Ayr) so its always last flight on a thursday and then back either sunday, monday or Tuesday, it was ok back when there were between 5 and 7 flights a day, but now its down to 3 (2 on a Sunday) and they are always full to bursting point.

The Ryanair vs Easyjet discussion sounds like a very good plan, especially when they cover a lot of the same routes.
