Hope all are well not been on in a long time, on the look out for cheap baby items as im going to be a Nanna. My first due in June sooo excited so im keeping eyes pealed xx
Congratulations and welcome to the best club ever. Our first gc, a little boy, arrived in October. It’s a whole different world. He is costing me a fortune, reduced prices only, please. The only clothes I paid full price for (had no choice), were complete sets of newborn outfits, ie vest, babygrow, bib, hat, mitts an bootees, from Morrison’s, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda in whites with patterns, so the baby would have some things to wear, whilst in hospital.
When TU have 25% off, it’s a good place to buy vests and muslins.
Mothercare did have a great sale, but there are still bargains to be had, more so if you know what you’re looking for. I picked up a great toy, a toddler version of a marble run (link no longer available on website) reduced from £60 to £18 the week before last. When I popped in for a quick browse, en route to Tesco (I posted about my bargains there, here late Thursday night),there was one of these just sitting on the floor in the baby toys section. I took it to the tills and one of the SAs told me it was only £18. Obviously I bought it and DS will be passing it on to one of his friends.
Our local Toysrus is one of those closing, and all the stock is reduced. One of my friends, whose dd is expecting, has been shopping there. She is a bit of a bargain hunter too.
Local Facebook groups are good too. DS picked up (that means OH and I - they were away!) a Mamas and Papas drawer unit and cot bed for a fraction of what it cost new.
Happy shopping and welcome again to this special club.0 -
