MSE link works, but the as always the devil is in the detail and it put me off; there is no way I am putting up with a credit check and no way I am going to take this annual inflation rise BS, my current supplier has not increased my price in 10 years.

I do not want this grief with £5 to reset your data and not allowing tethering means they can forget it.

I was with 3 years ago, it was not a service driven company in my experience and seems nothing has changed.

I currently get 750m talk, 2gb data and unlimited texts and pay £10

I might use this offer to try and haggle to improve that.

sorry the mse link did not work, i am sure if you look on the site regarding phones, your see the information you require. In regards to credit checks, most if not all mobile companies do the checks, they want to make sure they get their money for the next year, so unless you remain faithful with your current unknown company, then you may have to face this. in regard to the "grief" as you put it regarding the £5.00 reduction and the lack of tethering, firstly, im not too bothered with either of these, and it suits my needs, secondly, no one is asking you to join them, I simply posted where I moved to. if your happy with 750 minutes, then stay. Yes, as 3 are offering unlimited minutes, text and actually its 4.7gb then please do use this to help reduce your costings. I would of thought you should be paying much lower anyway, seems quite high, which properly explains why you have not received a line rental increase in years

    Apparently, all of £3 :rotfl:

Still, every little helps, and that works on both the £5 and £6/mnth deals.

In looking up the above, I found:
    3 1-Month SIM

8GB data, 600 minutes, unlim. texts, £13 for 1mnth contract.

TCB have a £15 cashback on that option, so ... they pay you £2?

I don't think so, the account has to be active for at least 90 days after activation for the cashback to be paid, so giving notice on day 1 would have the cashback declined.

    From the above TopCashback link:
Cashback will be validated for active Three accounts after approximately 90 days.

Open a Topcashback account and get £45 cashback for the following, only £9 per month over 12 months total £108 for the year with £45 cashback meaning you only pay £63 for a 12 month contract,

    Three Essential Plan.
    4GB data.
    All-You-Can-Eat minutes.
    All-You-Can-Eat texts.
    12 months contract length.

    Not included:
    Personal Hotspot Allowance
Feel At Home Around the World, but you can use it in the EU on your contract. Some providers will allow up to 12 GB when you are in the EU of data before charging extra but this contract is only 4 Gb so should be OK. Cannot be beat.
  • virgin media offered me 2500 mins, think was unlimtd texts, 4 gb data - £8 p
    or 2gb data £5pm
only otherday so should still be doing it
